Monday Morning Report

May 24 - Buford Nolan (27-R( of Ottawa pitched a 5 hit shutout at home versus Buffalo. He walked 2 and struck out 8. It is the 3rd shutout of his career. He is now 5-1 with a 2.48 ERA in 9 starts. The Otters won, 4 to 0.
May 25 - Eli Kyzar (31-R) of Syracuse pitched a 4 hit shutout at Providence. He did not walk a batter and struck out 4. At bat, he had a hit. It is the 9th shutout of his career. He is now 5-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 10 starts. The Sycamores won, 7 to 0.
May 27 - Rookie Brian Ragazzo (22-L) of New Orleans pitched a 2 hit shutout at home versus Hartford. He walked 2 and struck out 7. At bat, he had 3 hits with a double, the only extra base hit of the game, scored a run and had an RBI. It is the first shutout of his career. He is now 2-4 with a 3.29 ERA in 8 starts. The Pelicans won, 3 to 0.
May 27 - 3B Keith Meyer (29-L) of Memphis had 3 hits with a home run, scored 3 runs and had 3 RBI at home versus Ottawa. The Mules won, 7 to 0.
May 28 - LF Tim Dawson (27-R) of New Orleans had 4 hits with a double, scored 4 runs and had an RBI at home versus Hartford. The Pelicans won, 7 to 3.
May 30 - Memphis beat Ottawa at home, 5 to 4, in 16 innings. After 5 innings, the Otters were up, 4 to 0.
