16 May 2298 - Super Week for Sunshine Tidings's Nukes!
At the age of 26, Amari Nukes might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Sunshine Tidings left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .480 batting average. For his efforts Nukes collected the North Charles Association Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 5 games.
Nukes is hitting .352 for the season with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 44 hits in 125 at-bats and played in 30 games.
16 May 2298 - Parker Selected Player of the Week
Flatface Parker captured all the headlines last week and today he added to his booty with the South Charles Association Player of the Week trophy.
The Quincy Gunners center fielder hammered league hurlers for 11 hits in 24 at-bats, a .458 average and 2 home runs. He also collected 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
Thus far this year Parker is hitting .352 with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
