Jack Washburn strikes out on 3 pitches, but the ball gets away from the catcher! But he recovers it and throw Washburn out at 1st....

Danny Stewart (33-L) is in to play left and Ray McDonald moves to right. 3-4-5 up for them, three big lefty bats.... But our two lefties that have not been used today are tuckered out... We win or lose with P Roger Wallace.... They go down in order!

Their Bullpen is in better shape than ours; they still have one fresh arm left. With 1 out, Leander Gooding draws a walk. Charlie Faber bloops a hit to right center and Gooding beats the throw to 3rd! P Roger Wallace has to hit and he swings away for some reason and grounds one hard to the left side.... SS Danny Hutchinson makes a great stop, but his only play is to 1st and Gooding scores and Faber goes to 2nd! 3 to 2, Jays! They walk Cal Doty intentionally. Danny Stewart swings at a 3-2 pitch and sends one to deep center, but Pete Thompson makes a running catch...
