Ernie Patterson pops out to short. Danny Hutchinson grounds out to 1st, unassisted. Ricky Perez lines a hit to right. Herman Chance grounds out to 3rd!

Ron Gregory draws our second straight leadoff walk. Bart Daw grounds a double over the 3rd base bag! Junior Danielson flies out to deep center and Gregory tags up and beats the throw home. 3 to 0, Jays! The next two make outs.

Cal Doty grounds a 3-2 pitch to 1st, but Herman Chance boots it! Ray McDonald swings at the first pitch and lines a hit to center and Doty beats the throw to 3rd, but is hurt.... Trudy the Trainer goes out and ministers to him for a while and comes back and leaves Doty at 3rd! Marty Eades swings at the first pitch and grounds into a force at 2nd, 1-6, and Doty stays put. Jack Washburn grounds out to 3rd and Eades goes to 2nd and Doty stays put again.... Ron Gregory swings at the first pitch and pops out to short.... Runner on 3rd with no outs and no runs....

Ricky Perez and Herman Chance lead off with back to back hits. The Bullpen gets up. Gil Weaver lines a hit to center and Perez scores.... 3 to 2, Jays. Tom Howard walks on 4 pitches to load the bases up with no outs.... Call to the Bullpen: 2-time All-Star Bill Grant (33-L). Charlie Faber (32-R) is in to play 3rd in a double switch. Marty Eades had already moved to 1st and Faber is replacing Ed Diskin (39-R). Pete Thompson swings at the first pitch and grounds into a force at home, 3-2. Ricky Tejada swings at the first pitch and lines out to short and Bart Daw doubles Weaver off at 2nd!! 2 pitches by P Grant and he gets 3 outs!!!

Danny Hutchinson swings at the first pitch and lines a hit to right and both runners score....
