So much to my chagrin, I have been going on 2 weeks of failed attempts to create a fictional league with historical players.

At the start of every off-season I am importing players that made their debuts that following year in real life. It is a combination of Minor League and Major league players, using mostly the minor league database.

I've been running into constant problems, but here are two new ones.

1. Some players seem to be importing as both pitchers and batters.
2. Some players are importing with their real life stats into my fictional American Baseball League. An example is in the photo here. Those are his stats from my game with "WOR", but the rest of the stats are from his real career. I am not checking the box for including real-life stats, but it seems to be happening with some players anyway.

Anyone have any solutions?

EDIT: I think the stats problem has something to do with players having played in the real-life ABL (since my fictional league is also called the ABL), but I'm not sure how to fix this.

ANOTHER EDIT: I think some players appear twice in the minor league database because they played in different leagues? Anyway to stop this?
