Sorry if this is answered somewhere but I couldn't find it. Is there a way to start a league in 1871 and advance where the schedules, all-star games (lack of), and teams folding and expanding are all accurate?

I know this is all expertly executed from 1901 on, and I am comfortable (enough) with the development settings and all that, but I would love to have teams, schedules, rules (where possible) accurate starting in 1871.
