Some Year 1 Thoughts:
Year 1 took quite a while to play out. I started this in April and just completed the first season in September. I played out a lot of the games and on most days watched parts of multiple games a day. This has really helped me learn the teams and the players as well as some of the stats.
There were no trades made during the first year. I have used very low frequency during the season. I then turned off trading the day after the season and kept it turned off until January 1st when I turned it on to low frequency.
I won the Legends Series while controlling the Huskies so I have decided to move on to the Omaha Owls.
I ended up making the first trade in League History. The Owls drafted OF Oscar Charleston with the 1st overall pick and had a bit of depth in the OF. They needed pitching.
I shopped Kittle and saw Reno was willing to move Ben Cantwell. Reno had CJ Wilson in the bullpen for Year 1 and he is now ready to move to the rotation.
Once annoyance - The preseason predictions erased somehow and I am bummed that is going to be missing from my Leagues Almanac moving forward, but not really a big deal.
