I agree that they are a bad value economically, but I'm looking to re-boot two of my teams at least, and am so tired of seeing the live players. I started watching MLB when the Mets were born in 1962 and was a long time student of baseball history. I stopped following baseball in the early 2000's when I left a Strat-O-Matic play by mail league after 15 years. Seeing the card of players I watched or read about is much more fun at this point. Besides, with Our League, I don't care much how my teams do in PT in general.



In any event, thanks for the opinions. I'm gonna blow up two teams and spring for the historical packs now that they are on sale.
