Yeah... and lots of 7-game series, too... this has been an exciting postseason.
Southport beat the Pro Cup favorite Rolling Hills in a rip-roaring 7-game series.
Since Southport is the number three-rated team in the Pro Cup playoffs and the Colfax Black Sox are sixth-ranked... it's quite logical that Colfax will win Pro Cup, I guess... my forecast average might be abysmal if I looked it up over time in covering the IPA for 65 seasons... probably below the Mendoza Line.
The Black Sox hit well and have pretty good pitching... that combo usually works well in the playoffs.
Then again, Southport beat an outstanding team... the Racers had 7 All-Stars and hit .319 in the series... and I think they have hit over .300 for the last few seasons... .304 this year... may be an IPA league record.
