Whether they knew or not didn't matter, GS did what he wanted, and it wouldn't have mattered if they knew or agreed before hand. George made it known he was in charge and they took it because they wanted the money.
Steve Kemp, Dave Collins. There were a bunch of FA's he went after that I'm sure his GM's and Managers either didn't want or had no say in.

Please re-read my original post before quoting me again. I am sure George's GM knew exactly what his intentions were (and), per my original post, "whether they like it or not". So go ahead, list every player the Yankees ever signed under King George. Just don't quote me as if it corrects anything I've posted.
