In commissioner mode*, click on the team's Front Office tab. There, you'll see a button on the upper right marked "Edit Finances." Click that, and on the left side scroll down to where you can make edits to the owner.
*you can go into commissioner mode by going to the Manager's Office and choosing Manager Options. There's a box you can check on the right side that says "play in commissioner mode."
