Ruth’s OPS: 1.569! Game 3 was a wild one. Yankees up 2-1 headed to the 7th, add 5 more in the top of the inning, chasing Jim Clancy. Toronto responds by knocking out Waite Hoyt, sending 13 men to the plate and scoring 9 times. New York got 2 back in the top of the 8th and 2 more in the 9th to regain an 11-10 lead, but Al Woods hits a 2 run homer off of Sad Sam Jones to gain a 12-11 win for the Blue Jays.

Boston scored 10+ in each of the other 3 wins.The 4 hall of fame Cubs hitters (Williams, Brock, Santo and Banks) collectly hit ..258 (29-117) but did drive in 16 of the 22 runs scored.
