The rebirthing came about because I was a total noob at OOTP when I began this league and made some rookie errors at the import stage so a lot of these guys underperformed the first time around. Not much chance of that this time as the screenshots show!
The thing about SP and RP is you just need to have the right mix. If your rotation is a bit weak but you have a strong bullpen you can usually get away with it (the key word here being "bit").
My "problem" is that my SP are of a sort that means my RP don't get to pitch many innings, roughly 3/5 of the usual bullpen in the league as far as I can tell. But you still need the good ones because their job is so important. And the good ones want the money shown to them, to paraphrase Rod Tidwell. So I end up paying my relief corps big bucks for minimal bang. Yeah, it's not really a problem, thus the quotations.
