The Starlight shortstop put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .583 batting average. For his efforts People collected the Institute League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 7 hits in 12 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week in 3 games.

Player of the Week Trophy to Stabb: Shane "Bee's Knees" Stabb is respected by most Atom Cats fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Minutemen League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .583 average (7-for-12) with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Week's Premier Performer Honored by RL: 26-year-old Mike Thunderdome sent shock waves through Railroad League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Railroad League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Thunderdome made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .625 average, 10 hits in 16 at-bats, no home runs and 5 RBI.
Where the Shaw HS Knuckle Punchers center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Thunderdome certainly made his mark last week.
