Top of the Seventh:
Leander Gooding swings at the first pitch and grounds a hit to left. Bart Daw grounds into a force at 2nd, 5-4. Brian Porter beats out an infield hit. Glen Lewis takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4 to load the bases up with 1 out. That does it for P Clark Davis. New Pitcher: Ray Hayes (26-R), their closer, who got the win on Friday with 3 hitless innings, but gave us 4 runs (3 earned) in an inning on Thursday. Rob Worms swings at a 3-2 pitch and misses... Bottom of the Seventh:
Ernie Patterson swings at a 3-2 pitch and grounds one to short, but Bart Daw boots it... Ray McDonald bunts the runner up. Gil Weaver lines a hit to right. The Bullpen is back up. Tom Howard, who gets an RBI every time up, it seems, swings at a 3-2 pitch and lines out to left and Patterson tags up and scores. 7 to 2, Juice.
