News:

Terrible news for Cody Bellinger, who will miss five weeks with a forearm strain. Bellinger hits the DL with a 44 home runs, 113 RBI, and 9.3 WAR (leading the league in all of these), and a .334 average (second place by two points). The silver lining is that he should be back for the postseason.

Scores:

Blue Jays 7, Yankees 6. The Yankees tied the score with three runs in the eighth, but Cavan Biggio walked with the bases loaded in the ninth to give the Blue Jays the victory. Giancarlo Stanton hit his 48th home run.

Orioles 7, Red Sox 1. Trey Mancini homered twice and drove in four runs as the Orioles beat the Red Sox. Keyvius Sampson allowed one run over six innings for the win.
