1923 Offseason

Talks of a potential New York team grows with Joseph A. Chester (1872-1965), owner of Chester Food Produces has gained ownership of the new team though no name has been announced yet. More news in the following year.

The New York Hockey Club, as it is temporarily called will be joining the league for the 1924-25 NHL season.

In other news, the Hamilton Tigers are undergoing severe financial difficulties due to the lack of ticket sales and general small size of the fanbase. Talks of a relocation or folder have circulated though no such announcement has been made.
