We are in Louisville to play the Colonels a short 2 game set. They lost 2 of 3 in Birmingham over the weekend. We are 3-6 against them on the season and were swept in 3 games the last time we were here, August 3-5. They are 11th in scoring with 3.77 runs per game (Jacksonville is last with 3.51). The Colonels are tied for 6th in fewest runs allowed with 3.92 per game (Jacksonville is last with 5.36). We now have a team ERA of 5.01. Their run differential is -19 and ours is -237.

Leander Gooding swings at a 3-2 pitch and grounds a hit to left and then steals 2nd. With 1 out, a wild pitch sends him to 3rd. Ismael Gonzales grounds out to short and Gooding scores. 4 to 0, Jays!

Top of the Third:
With 1 out, P Mike Gaddis pops a hit to shallow right. Leander Gooding grounds one to short, but Graham Carr makes another bad throw to 2nd! Cal Doty grounds into a force at 2nd, 3-6, and P Gaddis goes to 3rd. Ismael Gonzales grounds a hit to left and P Gaddis scores! 5 to 0, Jays!

Joe Roberts grounds the third out down to 3rd, but Ramos boots the ball for his 2nd error of the inning and Doty scores! 8 to 1, Jays!

Mike Gaddis (W 5-12 went 9 innings (CG), allowed 1 run, 7 hits, 1 home run, 2 walks and struck out 6. 128 pitches. At bat, he had a hit and scored a run.

Carlos Santiago (L 8-11) went 5.1 innings, gave us 5 runs (4 earned), 7 hits, 6 walks and struck out 2. He threw a WP. 117 pitches.

SS Leaner Gooding had 2 hits and a walk, stole a base and scored 3 runs. LF Cal Doty had a hit and scored 2 runs. 1B Ismael Gonzales had 2 hits, scored a run and had 2 RBI. PH/1B Tony Becerra had a hit and a walk and scored a run. C Garrett Bender tied the League record with 4 walks and had 2 RBI. 3B Bobby Scrogham had 2 hits and 2 walks. RF Joe Roberts had 3 hits and 2 RBI.

For Louisville, SS Graham Carr had 3 hits with a double, but made 2 errors.
