Lazaro Lowndes, the superstar center fielder for the Houston Cavaliers (and a likely future Hall of Famer) led the SJL in batting average this year with a WPK-best .367 while also setting a new single season high-mark for hits with 243.
Over in the MGL, it was a tight race between two teammates- the Denver Brewers
Bobby Erbakan, who led in this category most of the season, and
Brett Taranto, who surged at the end of the season.
Taranto ends up the winner with a .357 batting average, while
Erbakan finished 2nd at .353.
