Our online league has discussions just about every single month about how we should address the competitive equity in our league. Some ideas that have been thrown around include...
- Draft lottery (not much support for this)
- Draft pick tournament where the teams that don't make the playoffs play in a post-season tournament to determine draft order
We are worried about owner retention and the ability for new owners to be competitive if they inherit a very bad team. What are some ideas that have worked for your leagues? Is the standard season finish determines draft pick order the best way to go about it?
