Devin Schwisow of the Phoenix Speed Devils hit a 2-run home run in the 4th inning of his team's loss to Denver yesterday and has now equaled the single season high mark of 50 homers set by Jamison Bash in 1966 and also equaled by Erik Brakeall in 1969.
On the other hand, his teammate Marty O'Brien gave up 2 homers to the Brewers to extend his single-season record mark to 46 in that category. He also suffered his 21st loss of the season and the loss also gave the Speed Devils 100 for the season.
The Brewers rookie first baseman Sean Wright hit two bombs in the game, his first two home runs as a big league player.
