Thumbs up Another Bucs fan!

I fell in love with baseball in 1986 when I got my first look at Earl Weaver Baseball. There have been many that tried to put together another program to match it, but when I discovered OOB in 2019, I knew I had found the winner.

Note to DEVS: THAT IS HIGH PRAISE!

In any case, I am out for revenge for the Pirates three consecutive NLCS losses. (Reds, Braves, Braves) Did I mention I hate the Braves?

In any case, I took over the Pirates starting in the 1988 season and started my prep. I combed the minors for up and coming guys I knew would make the team better by that 1990 NLCS. (Hint, traitorous Sid Bream was my first trade) Bonds got off to a slow start, Van Slyke was out for five weeks, so I went out and got Reuben Sierra and played Cangelosi at Center. If its hit in the park, he can catch it, but deep fly with someone a second, that's a run. Sierra came over with a vengeance, took over the cleanup spot, and contrary to what he was used for historically, Bonds is batting third and coming around. VanSlyke hits behind Sierra (and guns down runners.

We are 42 games in and the Pirates and the Mets are battling it out for the lead.

Living in Texas, I am a Rangers fan as well, but as I like to manage one pitch and handle the minors, and work 50 hours a week, I 've only gotten 42 games in. Got OOB 21, but I bought it on sale from Steam and am not sure how to activate it. Will look into that tommorrow.
