MERAUX, DELACROIX BEST IN SI SECOND LEAGUE
All of the weekend games were close ones in the South Island Second League... all of them were decided by just one run... the Meraux Tigers and Delacroix Cubs are still the best clubs in the league, tied for the top spot with 7-4 records... the Tigers had to rally in extra innings to top the Bar Harbor Acadians 6-5... the Cubs held off the Bayou Bleu Blues 4-3... and the Chitamaca Moccasins got back into the win column by edging the Mystic Mariners 6-5.
