Lost - 10 to 6
We had 11 hits and made no errors
New Orleans had 15 hits and made 2 errors
4 times now, we have scored 5 or more runs in a game.
We are 0-4 and have been outscored, 38 to 24 in those games...
Mike Gaddis (L 0-4) went 3+ innings, allowed 6 runs, 8 hits, 1 walk and struck out 2. I think Pia my Personal Assistant would not have much worse numbers in our rotation...
LHP John Newberry went 4 innings, allowed 4 runs, 5 hits, 1 home runs, 1 walk and struck out 1. He threw a WP. Pia is buying a couple of train tickets to Daytona Beach....
RHP Barry Finney pitched 2 scoreless innings, allowed 2 hits, 1 walk and struck out 3.

Down on the Farm: As bad as things are in Jacksonville, they are even worse in Daytona Beach. The Tortugas (A) lost at the Durham Bulls, 10 to 2, to drop their record to 2-15....
