Thanks for your replies - really helpful.
I suppose it's a combination of player specific strategy rather than overall strategy - ramping up use run and hit for the player who follows a speedter in the lineup.
One problem with that and I'm sure it's just me, but I can't see where the slider is for run and hit.
I can see that hit and run is between Base running and sac bunt, but I can't see one for run and hit. The manual suggests there should be one...
