I would think the goal for the developers for such a game would be to get many people to drop smaller denominations at a time in order to speed things up, grease the wheels, specials, etc.
I have no problem with spending $, I spent a little with my 'main' team during the pandemic.... but right now I could drop $200 and I dont think it would make a difference and would feel like throwing money into an ocean

Right now, even as someone who did spend some $, there is almost no action in the game at all. Waiting to collect a small trickle of pp every week as I finish between 65-80 wins, and winning packs of cards in tournaments that get me 5 live irons and a live bronze like 60% of the time.
