Alright. I will now try once more to get an answer for this before writing a Steam review that might express how the game's a good deal o' fun, but a substantial amount of the achievements are borked.
I have played through all of a 2020 season from Opening Day till now. All of the following Steam achievements should have been triggered by now:
Victory (First Game Win)
Sweep (First Series Sweep)
Quality Outing (First Quality Start)
Saved (First Save)
It's Outta Here (First Home Run)
Stealing It (First Stolen Base)
Dealmaker (First Trade)
The Next Generation (First Draft Pick)
Hey Now, You're an All Star (First All Star)
None of them have. The only thing that's triggered is me. Two questions in that regard:
- What is the requirement to get those achievements? e.g. Challenge Mode, 3D Mode, Manager Mode, GM-only Mode? Because apart from those I've tried everything. Eyes open, eyes closed, while eating cookies, while not eating cookies, pants on, pants off, and none of them worked. And there must be something, because if 42% of players have had a 4-game HR streak, but only 13% have won a game, something has to be ass-backwards.
- If it is required to play in a certain mode, why on Earth can you not include that in the achievement description? Literally every other game will do that.
I apologize for the passive-aggressive tone, but it's all I have right now...
