North Bay is making another successful playoff run, dispatching the Frontenacs in 7 games. Kingston had a 4-2 lead in the 3rd period of Game 7 only to watch it evaporate with three North Bay scores, including the game winner by Nicolas Castonguay which was his 1st goal of the playoffs Castonguay only had 5 goals all season, this one in the playoffs was the biggest of his career.

#1 Owen Sound defeats Saginaw 4-1

Owen Sound makes short work of Saginaw in 5 games. Saginaw slowed down Owen Sound's offence by limiting them to 17 goals in 5 games but only score 11 themselves. Once again,the Spirit season is finished by the Attack.

#5 Sarnia defeats #2 Windsor 4-0 - UPSERT ALERT!!!

Major upset here as many OHL experts had predicted an Owen Sound-Windsor West final since the beginning of the season. Despite having projected #1 overall NHL pick, defenceman Ralph White in their lineup, the Spitfires could not match the depth of the Sarnia squad. Sarnia is now 8-1 in these playoffs and face their biggest challenge of the season in trying to take down the defending champs.
