We enter the pre-season 14th in both payroll and budget. Smack dab in the middle. Fan interest is at 73. We've raised ticket prices to 17.50 (4%) and are expecting a 16+% increase in season tickets.
Our 40 man roster stands at 39 players. 18 pitchers and 22 position players. The only area I am concerned about is utility infielders. We have 1, and we just signed him, and the minors are barren right now. We do have a couple of young prospects who are potentially huge assets. 20-year-old Onofredo Andriani plays all 7 IF/OF positions and all above average but he needs at-bats. He's likely starting the year in SS Hartford.
Our minor league system is 12th overall with Pacio Bertrand (23rd) our highest-ranked prospect.

San Jose inked former Detroit Charger OF Brian Lundy to a 3 year 25.8 million dollar deal. Lundy is a career .308 hitter with 2368 hits (15th all-time) and 457 HR's (11th all-time) as well as 1378 RBI's (8th all-time) and 1257 Runs (13th all-time).
