Walkers news: August 7 -- St. Louis 5, Des Moines 4, 10 innings

Andrew Benintendi led off the top of the 10th inning with a homer run off Des Moines closer Omar Beintez to help give St. Louis a 5-4 win at Green Canyon Park.
A three-run homer from Andrew Foley off River Walkers starter Brendan McKay in the bottom of the third had put the Harvesters in front 4-2.
But the Walkers tied it in the top of the sixth.
Cris Rosario led off the inning with a homer off reliever Nick Spear.
Andrew Benintendi followed with a double and later scored when Alek Thomas came through with a bases-loaded single off Spear.
McKay lasted 5.2 innings, during which he allowed four runs on eight hits.
Cory Tiller finished off the sixth and pitched a scoreless seventh.
Jose Alvarado, Ernesto Barbosa and Jake Brentz all pitched a scoreless innings.
Barbosa (7-0) got the win.
Bentz notched his 21st save.
