The rest of the offseason was uneventful. But we needed to add some depth to the spring training roster and to some of our minor league affiliates.

LF Ron LeFlore (32, 46/46) signed to a minor league contract with a major league option for $230k after 30 days. I don't think I want to pay him that major league option, but maybe he can have a great month and I can get something in return for him.
LF Tom Paciorek (34, 41/41) signed a one year contract for $130k to back up LF and possibly RF.
CF Omar Moreno (28, 47/47) sigend to a one year contract. Omar had a great year in Pittsburgh last year. 5 hr 61 rbi .286/.327/.367 and 75 sbs. I am thrilled to get him for one year for only $256k. He will bat leadoff and play very good defense in CF.

There were no worthwhile Left handed relievers on the free agent market so I might have to live with one lefty in the bullpen if Dave von Ohlen isn't ready.
