In a 20-7 drubbing over the Baltimore Lords yesterday, the Los Angeles Spinners saw a few notable performances from their hitters as 25-year old center fielder Juan Bado hit for the cycle (the second in the WPK this season) and their 28-year old back-up catcher Greg Foster (who would be a starter on most teams, teams who don't have superstar Jason Ott playing for them) collected 6 hits to become just the third player in MGL history with that many hits in a game (the others: Ruben Souffront in 1975 and Jeremy Brigatti in 1971- it has also been done twice in the SJL: Jason Janes in 1970 and Ricky Sanches in 1968).
With the Denver Brewers suffering a 1-run loss on the day, the win pushed the Spinners to within 2 1/2 games of first place in the MGL.
