Chrono Trigger is still my favorite game of all time and that came out in 1995. It still holds up very well in 2020.
I have very fond memories of Ken Griffey Jr Presents Major League Baseball from SNES that came out IIRC in 1994.

I would have to go back and play it and see if it is as good as I remember. Too bad since that one was MLB licensed you can't find a version on modern consoles.
