Providence opens the game 2B, HR, 2B, 2B and ends the 1st up 4-0.
In the top of the 2nd Chisholm leads off with a HR, 2 outs and then a Kucher 1B is followed by a Greg Cowan 2 R HR to make it 4-3.
In the 3rd Nolasco doubles, Chisholm K's for out #2 and Dagger draws a walk. Mike Aasen is hit by a pitch to load them up before Kucher slaps a slow roller up the 1B line and beats it out to tie the game.
Top of 4 a leadoff 1B by Whittaker is followed by a Luis Orozco 2 R HR making it 6-4 and ending Breger's day.
Whittaker promptly coughs it up after a 2 out walk to the pitcher, followed by a 1st pitch 435 foot blast by Providence's Manny Lopez tying the game. 2 singles later Brad Cass comes in to get Larry Peet on a fielders choice.
6-6 into the 8th when Mike Aasen drills a 1 out double and Kucher follows that with a 1st pitch triple. A Cowan sacrifice fly makes it 8-6.
Ranan Laskey retires the side in order, on 7 pitches to close out game 2.
