This does bring up the previous discussions about changing the way the game handles "absences" that aren't really injuries.
Now, I don't think the game necessarily needs dozens of inactive lists (although I would like a few, but that's just me), but I think we do need more than just an Injured List now. This also ties in with storylines, which theoretically allow a much wider variety of things than just injuries (although I do wonder how much the development of storylines has been curtailed by having to follow what MLBPA wants).
