Wow.I'm 95% sure I've never had anything close. I wonder if it has anything to do with playing a historical sim? 1981 start & currently 1989. I don't play out my team's games, but I usually try to take a look at every box score. My main point of interest in the box scores is the section with my pitchers. I want to make sure they're not getting over-worked, pulled too early, giving up too many hits or runs, etc.
The coolest thing I've seen with my pitchers is Randy Johnson threw a no-hitter in 1988 and within two weeks one of my AAA guys and a AA pitcher both threw no-hitters. I thought that was pretty cool.

That's pretty wild. May I ask you a question? 2097 is very far in the future. What year did your saved file begin? Did you start in 2070 or something like that? Or did you start in 2020? Either way, how the heck do you get through seasons so fast? One time I did Play > Auto Play Until... and chose Next Month. Auto-Play was interrupted every 2-3 days. The next season I did the same thing but enabled Do Not Disturb. It played a full month, but my clubhouse was in shambles. I knew I'd miss out on any trade offers, but everything basically went to hell.

So, how can you sim seasons so quickly while really paying attention to your club's well-being?
