Haven't had Magadan for long, but he is servicable as leadoff man in Bronze, and OBP is something this roster is always looking for...

Tiernan was on my shortlist a while back, but only Furillo was available when I had the funds - not that I have any regrets. Carl's fine. Tiernan is one of those rather rare cards that I don't see often on the market, which is why I went for Kiner this time.

What the Metsies need now is a steady starting pitcher (beyond Matlack and Burleigh, it's a mess...), and always, always relievers. Second base is also an option to upgrade. Squirrel is hitting surprisingly well (.292/.335/.439 in 1,015 Bronze games), but his 51 D is ... sheesh.

Also, Mets seven games ahead in the division. Pretty sure they're gonna blow it again.
