Mets have now finally dumped Pete Alonso, batting .174 once more this year. For a guy that hit a ****ing 53 homers last year, he's scandalously unplayable in this game...
Sold some live Dodgers cards overnight that I once bought in a rush of stupidity, and pooled stuff together to get SE Ralph Kiner on board for 7k. He'll mainly DH, but the Mets' lineup is certainly getting denser.
And right now, the Metsies have only four "guest" players; besides Kiner they're all relievers. And then again, Kiner should count as a Met on the merits of decades of broadcasting for the Mets.
Well, as usual in my OOTP endeavours... It all sounds good in my head!
