This has happened a couple of times to me. If you go to the "initiate a trade" page but don't select a second team, and then immediately play a game you manage, every time you make a lineup change or a pitching change it will let you make it but a dialog box will come up saying "please select a second team". It doesn't interfere with anything but it's an odd quirk.
