I was really grinding the tourneys for awhile. Getting possibly around 30 packs per week. There was almost no payoff. I think in several weeks of doing this I pulled 1 starter for my team, a Diamond McGuire who bumped SE Bagwell to DH. I also packed a McCormick early on, who is in my rotation, but kind of a fringe Diamond starter.
Maybe that was the error, going for packs instead of pp in the tournaments, but 30K per week in pp isnt that gratifying for all that "work". That really doesnt go that far in terms of upgrades or lateral moves from the SE Live Collections dudes (as far as I know).
Now I am back to work though and not that much time for tourneys. I enter some in the AM, sometimes during lunch, after work, and before bed. Down to maybe 10-15 packs a week. Maybe ill start hitting the 750pp gold tourneys.
I cant work the auction house. Too concerned Id mess up and go broke, ha.
I do think the App will add to this tremendously as it will be possible to grind those tourneys and the auction house on the go.
