2002 Final Stats
Woof. What a terrible season. I checked in the editor and every one of my primary players underperformed expectations in both batting average and slugging. For everyone other than Aramis Ramirez and Miguel Tejada, it was over 10% (and in some cases 15%) below expectations. That is certainly reflected in the runs scored being so low.
The pitching staff only allowed 20ish more runs than last year, but the bullpen was an adventure and new blood is certainly needed.
