This whole thing is a joke. I wont even acknowledge a 2020 MLB season. There's just too much wrong with it.
What if great players get COVID? What if managers get COVID? I'm not saying any human life is more important than another. Dont get me wrong with my "great players" statement. I mean your big stars needed to make the run at the *ahem* playoffs have to be out and quarantined. I know the same thing can happen with injuries and you have to battle thru, but you could have multiple big names gone all at once. Trout AND Ohtani, Albies AND Acuna, Kershaw AND Bellinger AND Turner. I know that's looking for trouble but it is very possible.
Then we could have interim managers in two, three, four places at once because several managers have COVID.
It just seems backwards where managers, owners and fans hope their players stay healthy thru workouts, All Star appearances, etc. but then trot them out where multiple players, coaches could get sick all at once.
Just doesnt make sense to me.
