In their 2nd foray into Diamond, the Manatees found themselves in a division with a whale, yet still managed to finish above 500 while being over 40 games off the division lead and 5 games short of the wildcard. A much better experience that their last trip, which barely netter 50 wins.
The Iron Manatees were competitive in their Gold League's division all year, winning it in a game 163 playoff, then losing the Sub-League series in 7. If the Pro/Rel standings are to be trusted, they're moving on up to join their unarmored cousins.
The Mets were likewise competitive in their Gold League, sneaking off with a division win after dropping 8 of their last 10 in the regular season then customarily losing their divisional series. That loss meant they avoided promotion to diamond.
I'm kinda glad I won't be able to pay much attention to them next week.
