Whenever I rebranded a team I'd go in to the jerseys and logos screen first, change those, then go back and change the team name (for example like from the Padres to the Sharks). Then when I exited the game and reloaded back in, I'd notice the logos, jerseys, and caps are all set back to default except for like the away jersey usually. I figured out if you change the team name first, THEN go change the logos, jerseys, and caps, it doesn't do that. Something the game does because it feels like it needs to create new stuff because you just changed the team name.
