YANKS UP BY 2 GAMES IN NIRL FIRST DIVISION
A two-game lead after just five weekends of play is pretty darn good... the New Yerby Yankees are 5-1 and on top in the North Island Recreational League First Division... the Yanks outscored the Jackson Jackalopes Sunday 11-6... in the other two games in the division Stockdale pulled one out against the Joliet Green Giants 5-2 and Wafford squeezed by the Dutton Coyotes 4-3.
