(OOTP19) I've noticed several dozen times over the course of many years replays when I rebuilding my roster in the off-season and I offer up a quality player (3 or 4 stars) in trade, I sometimes get offered a player in return that the other team has just given up a 1st rounder to sign (even on Very Hard).

Has this oddity been addressed in later editions? A team should make a greater effort to NOT trade this player and hang on to him. If I had taken the plunge I'd have my former player back and the other team's 1st rounder. Nice but not realistic at all.
