Eh, I think it evens out. I just got quite a few PP playing a team with only Iron pitchers on its roster (who also has a bunch of Diamonds and Golds cooling on the reserve roster).
I think a lot of teams run in to this at some point so it's not really getting an advantage if it happens almost universally.
