I'm six seasons in and suddenly can't alter my lineups or pitching staffs (I'm playing as GM, but my manager allows full control).

Attempting a switch in the lineups or pitching staff tabs results in the "Attention!" pop-up with the message: "Your manager does not allow you to change the pitching staff or you have assigned control of the pitching staff to the computer AI."

It's not the manager, so is there some setting that accidentally toggled somewhere?

I've tried everything I can think of and can't find anything helpful in the manual or googling.

More details (in case it's helpful): I had been adjusting my lineups and staff regularly, when in between one game and the next I suddenly couldn't anymore. I checked the manager page and he had changed from "allows full control" to "retains full control". Never seen that happen before, but whatever. Axed that guy, hired a guy who would let me have control, but no change. Tried simming through a day to see if that would help; it didn't. Tried rebooting; no luck. Now fresh out of ideas. Anybody got anything?
