45,000 PP later, two usable players:
- SP Jose DeLeon (94)
- C Dick Dietz (90)
DeLeon joins the bullpen, where the conversion to reliever gives him 147-74-48 ratings. With him and Dibble in the pen, that's a ton of walks. But Jeff Nelson (83) is overmatched in Gold, and DeLeon can't be any worse than Nelson's been.
Dietz is just a horrible catcher, but he'll make for a quality DH against lefties with 88-83-108-93-52 ratings vs. LHP. He replaces SS Bo Bichette (82), also ineffective in Gold and essentially a pinch runner at this point.
These are not huge impact players, but they're slight upgrades. For 45K PP I expected more, but that's the way it goes.
