I wonder if more effort can be put into seeding.
Seems just about every year I'm in a league with the team that's been playing .850 ball since they hit rookie. Between the "dropped in the middle of the pool, find your level" and the seeming increased popularity among whales it's like an estuary that's interrupted by speedboats every 15 minutes. All the turbulence makes it hard to enjoy. I am hoping at some point I might get into PT21 like I have PT20, but between all my best players being pretty much everyone elses best players and the very low interest in the playoffs (and really why would you? It's not like the playoff rewards are much value anyway) the only thing I really enjoy are the tourneys, which I still play regularly and even sometimes check up on.
Hopefully if I buy another version they'll make it easy to keep track of the tourneys and the players' stats. It's honestly more interesting and involves more of my collection than the so-called season and the promotion/relegation rinse/repeat.
